Numerous case of vote trading have been intercepted by the police officials the day before the elections for Bulgarian parliament on July 5.

A 35-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly trading votes. The police in the near to capital Sofia, Pernik, together with the national security agency (DANS) found a list of 123 names with sums written for each one.

After the investigation continued, the police confiscated from the house of a 32-year-old man two personal computer and peaces of paper with names, dates, and amounts of money written on them.

In another police action in Parnik, a notebook computer and document have been confiscated by a 28-year-old man. Some of the people who are in the list of names have been found, and are being interrogated.

The police in the town of Roman have arrested a woman, who had 25 IDs with her. Around 10 am on Saturday, the police received an anonymous call that two women were travailing in a cab towards the town, and intended to boy votes.

The two women, 46 and 50-year-of-age were detained, and 25 IDs and BGN 360 were confiscated. Almost all of the documents found in the action belong to representatives of ethnic minorities.

Two man, one 19-year-old and the other one 26-year-old, have been arrested in the town of Pordim, Pleven distric. They took 28 IDs from people from the village of Zgalevo, and promissed them to pay them BGN 20 if they vote for a particular political party. Both of them will be kept in detention for 24 hour. The prosecutor's office is investigating the case.
