Representatives of the Discussion Club for Social and Local Policy started Wednesday a new campaign for marking the areas around the most dangerous street holes in Sofia, writing the name of the Mayor Boyko Borisov on the pavement.
The "Attention! Boyko Borisov" signs aim at reminding the mayor about the promises he gave during the pre-election campaign concerning the road infrastructure improvement.
"Like on the roads all over the country, Sofia drivers could smash their cars in the center of the capital city," said the socialist club's Chairman Nikolay Belalov.
The initiative is to be held under the motto "Let's Save the Gerberas in Sofia", which refers to the name of Borissov's party GERB.
"We hope we will be able to help the citizens and protect the plants along the streets," Belalov explained.
He added the club's members will try to mark at least 3-4% of all 10,000 huge holes in the capital's streets.
