Oxford Business Group (OBG) officially presented Monday its book "The Report: Bulgaria 2008".

Bulgaria's Depute Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivaylo Kalfin participated at the presentation.

The report has two versions - print and online, and is considered one the main sources of information for potential foreign investors in Bulgaria as an emerging market.

The book "The Report: Bulgaria 2008" includes interviews with Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov, Bulgarian Prime Minister Sergey Stanishev and with Bulgaria's Depute Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivaylo Kalfin. The international experts' point of view is presented by the President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso, American Senator George Voinovich and Geoffrey Van Orden, former reporter on Bulgaria's advancement during the country's accession to the European Union.

The book includes a thorough analysis of the corporative tax and the future taxation reform. The energy sector, the future modernization of the country's infrastructure, Bulgaria's potential in the IT sector, the financial market and the real estate market are given special attention as well.

The publication has a circulation of 71 000 copies and is written by six OBG analysts based on the six-months research they have conducted in Sofia.

Bulgarian partners of OBG include the Foreign Ministry, the Law Offices of "Borislvav Boyanov & Co", "Ernst&Young" and First Finance Brokerage House.

"The previous publications "Emerging Bulgaria" were very successful, thus I believe that this joint initiative of OBG and the Foreign Ministry is a dignified continuation of the building of Bulgaria's image before the world", Foreign Minister Kalfin said at the meeting.

Paulius Kunchinas, Regional Director of OBG thanked the Foreign Ministry and all the other Bulgarian partners for their partnership and support.

OBG is a publishing company for economic and consulting services based in Great Britain. The company publishes political and economic information about emerging markets in the Persian Gulf, Eastern Mediterranean, North and South Africa, Asia and the Balkans.

OBG print and online products include thorough and precise analyses of political and economic processes in emerging markets. The group also offers market research by request and individualized advice to companies active on the emerging markets or looking to invest in them in the future.
