No Selection Exams for Bulgarian Students in Spain

Bulgarian students could continue their higher education in Spain without passing currently existing selection exams, Spanish Embassy in Sofia announced.

Bulgarians will be able to take advantage of the new rules from the beginning of this year.

The Bulgarian youngsters, studying in Spain can get scholarships after applying on a par with the Spanish citizens. The average grades and the social family status will be taken into account in evaluating the candidates.

The educational fees in Spanish universities are set at between EUR 600 and 900 annually. The country is interested in attracting new students as it invests huge funds in the higher education system and there are many vacancies.

An increasing number of young Bulgaria have been opting to continue their education abroad. After the accession of the country to the European Union it will be easier for them to achieve these goals.
