Bulgaria has slated four more ports - the Varna, Baltchik, Svishtov and Oryahovo - for concession.

The Government is planning to put on tender a total of 23 ports. The move will hopefully increase their effectiveness and boost traffic.

Concessionaires of the latest four facilities will be obliged to make investments, and prove financial stability.

The requirements to the bidders for all four ports will be equal.
