A horrific crash on the Trakia Highway has left two dead and eight injured.
According to Miroslav Stoyanov, spokesperson of the Pazardzhik district police directorate, as cited by Capital Daily, three of the injured are in very serious condition.
According to preliminary reports, two vans had stopped in the emergency lane at the 57th kilometer of the Trakia Highway on the way to Sofia, when they got swept by a TIR truck.
The tip-off about the accident was received at around 2.30 a.m. on Wednesday by the police directorate in the southwestern town of Septemvri.
The cause of the accident is yet to be determined.
