More Confusion: Daniel Mitov Declines Offer for Acting Foreign Minister
GERB MP Daniel Mitov has announced his refusal to accept the offer to serve as acting foreign minister, citing concerns about becoming a pawn in the current power struggle
"When I am in Germany I work so hard that I have no time to feel nostalgic. Germans are so strict that if you have been signed up for five weeks, you have to finish the play for exactly five weeks.
What I miss however is Bulgarians' lack of responsibility, which is driving me crazy while I am in Bulgaria. But in Germany I see it as a quality. I long to see something made in a slipshod manner. Because everything there is perfect! There is no one to join you swearing at the puddles in the street. In fact there are no puddles to waddle through swearing. It is a real shame!
Back home Bulgaria strikes me with its poor roads, plastic bags and dust. And its policemen lurking hidden behind corners, who have no desire to prevent violations and save lives, but only to slap you a fine."
Theater, television and film director Tedi Moskov explains in an interview for Trud daily why he misses Bulgaria while working in Germany where he puts many of his plays on stage. Moskov is best known for the popular Monty Python style TV show The Street and the famous theater plays Jam, A Servants' Comedy, The Master and Margarita and the movie Rhapsody in White.
