Romania Edges Closer to Visa-Free Travel to the US
Romania is making strides toward joining the Visa Waiver Program, a significant milestone that would enable its citizens to travel to the United States visa-free for up to 90 days
More than 40 Bulgarian companies will participate in the world's leading travel trade show "ITB Berlin" in Germany, the Bulgarian Ministry on Economy, Energy and Tourism announced.
The Bulgarian stand covers an area of 429 square meters and the main focus of the presentation will be cultural tourism. However, visitors will also be presented to other types of tourism – historical, wine, spa, religious and others.
The Bulgarian Black Sea summer resorts Dyuni and Albena, the municipalities of Sofia, Plovdiv and Varna and several hotel chains are among the participants.
More than 11 160 companies from 188 countries will participate in the 45th edition of the exhibition, which will take place March 9-13 and will cover a total area of 160 000 square meters.
According to the organizers, there are more representatives of Eastern Europe, Asia and Africa this year, compared to 2010.
Last year, the Bulgarian participants in the exhibition were 32, most of which were tour operators.
