Four Bulgarian government ministers opened the FIS Men's Alpine Ski World Cup in Bulgaria's top mountain resort Bansko Friday night.

Bulgaria's Economy Minister Traicho Traikov, Sports Minister Svilen Neykov, Labor Minister Totyu Mladenov, and Regional Development Minister Rosen Plevneliev, all ardent skiers, together with Bulgarian football legend Hristo Stoichkov gave the start of the ski start in Bansko to take place February 26-27.

A number of top world skiers have arrived in Bansko for the ski competition. Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov will be awarding the winners on Sunday.

The Bulgarian government contributed BGN 2 M to the organization of the ski cup round in Bansko.
