Bulgaria continues to enjoy one of the warmest Novembers ever, after 12 locations registered again temperature records on Thursday.

The data comes from the National Institute for Meteorology and Hydrology at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS).

The highest Thursday temperatures were registered along the Black Sea coast with the town of Ahtopol reaching 25.8 degrees Celsius.

In the Black Sea city of Burgas the mercury registered 24.6 degrees, in the other Black Sea city – Varna – 24.8 degrees.

Record warmth was measured on capes Emine and Kaliakra, the northeastern parts - city of Dobrich and the town of Shabla; in the central region – the city of Sliven, the towns of Elhovo and Karnobat and the village of Novo Selo along with the western city of Kyustendil.

The temperature of the sea water was 14 degrees.

The forecast for Friday is for the warm weather to continue, but the temperatures will be slightly lower.
