Putin Declares Easter Ceasefire in Ukraine War
The Kremlin has announced that Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered an “Easter ceasefire” in the war in Ukraine, declaring a temporary halt in hostilities lasting around 36 hours

The Bulgarian team of firemen and doctors who helped quench the blazes that choked Russia were decorated by Moscow region vice-governor for their brave efforts.
Their mission being over, they are set to return to Sofia Friday evening.
Moscow vice-governor Konstantin Sedov presented the 92 Bulgarian firefighters and 3 doctors with the order “For Co-operation in the Name of Rescue”, which was awarded to them by the federal Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Moscow governor Boris Gromov awarded the leaders of the team, chief inspectors Valentin Angelov and Kiril Kirilov. Firefighters also received a commemorative present for their efforts.
Local authorities where Bulgarian firefighters operated sent out letters of gratitude to Bulgarian PM Boyko Borisov and Minister of Interior Tsvetan Tsvetanov. Earlier in August Russian PM Vladimir Putin personally thanked PM Borisov for sending out help.
