The unemployment rate in Bulgaria in the month of July has reached 7,62%, the Employment Agency reported Tuesday.
282,211 unemployed people have been registered by the country's Labor Bureaus - 12,075 more compared to June, 2009.
In July, the Bureaus posted 13,182 job vacancies with most of them in the manufacturing sector (3551), trade (2148), and construction (1132), followed by real estate, business services and farming.
By July 31, 6,327 jobs remained vacant.
15 individuals average for the country competed for one position in July, compared to 11 in June.
Nearly 12,000 unemployed people began work in July through the help of the Labor Bureaus - 935 more in comparison to July 2008 - direct result of the efforts of the Labor Bureaus employees.
