Bulgarian emigrants have four days left to register if they would like to vote in the general elections on July 5.

On Election Day Bulgarians who live outside the country will only be able to vote for a party, without the right to vote for a specific list or majority candidate.

To vote the Bulgarian emigrants will first have to register at a diplomatic mission abroad before Sunday 14 June.

It has also been made official that for places without a diplomatic mission over 100 people will have to ask the Bulgarian Foreign Affairs ministry, for them to be given a polling station.

In the 2005 Bulgarian general elections, 77 020 people voted from abroad at 244 polling stations, 50 of which were in the US, where 5 200 Bulgarians voted.
