It's quite interesting to observe the Britons' devotion to their royal family. They live with their kings and queens. They fall in love with them, they are joyful when their royalties are happy and they suffer together with their princes and princess.

Though not marked by the grandness of the British royal family Bulgaria can also take pride in its monarchs. Spain, especially, is very interested in Bulgaria's royal couples. That interest stems from the development of the history that led Bulgaria's royal family to Spain when back in 1946 His Royal Highness Prince Simeon of Bulgaria, Prince of Tirnovo was forced to go to exile.

Now His Majesty King Simeon Saxe-Coburg and his family, spouse Margarita Gomez-Acebo y Cejuela and their five children- Kardam, Cyrill, Kubrat, Konstantin-Assen, and Princess Kalina- are in the limelight both here in Bulgaria and on the Iberian peninsular

The five children of King Simeon Saxe-Coburg, who is Bulgaria's former Prime Minister, have always had their say in politics, economics, fashion and style. Known for their stylish spouses, wonderful children and rich family traditions, the heirs of HM King Simeon Saxe-Coburg have become the perfect advocates of Bulgaria abroad.

Crown Prince Kardam of Tirnovo, is Simeon Saxe-Coburg's eldest son. The economist, who also holds a degree in Philosophy from the Clark University, is married to Miriam Ungria y Lopez. The father of two boys is among Bulgaria's greatest admirers. He has always worked towards the promotion of the Balkan country in Europe. His serious look and professionalism combined with the charm of his wife make them one of the most respected couples in Spain.

His Royal Highness Cyrill, Prince of Preslav, is married to Rosario Nadal y Fuster-Puigdorfila in Palma de Mallorca, one of the most elegant ladies in Spain. Prince Cyrill and Princess Rosario, parents of three children, are known for their elegance and style. They combine the glamour of the Hollywood couples with the warmth of the ordinary families.

The Bulgarian prince, who has a bachelor's degree in Physics and Corporate Finance from the Princeton University, was personally invited by the Bulgaria's former president Petar Stoyanov to be one of the expert-consultants in economics as part of his Presidency.
His Royal Highness Kubrat, Prince of Panagyurishte is the third son of Simeon Saxe-Coburg. He has earned the public's respect with his devotion to the medicine. The Bulgarian prince married to Carla Royo-Villanova y Urrestarazu, has an MD in General Surgery from the Universidad de Navarra, Pamplona.

Konstantin-Assen, Prince of Vidin is Simeon Saxe-Coburg's youngest son. He graduated Business Administration at ICADE, Business Administration. The prince is married to Maria Garcia de Rasilla y Gortazar. The royal couple's children Prince Umberto and Princess Sofia are twins.

Her Royal Highness Princess Kalina is the only daughter of Bulgaria's king. She is known for being the most modern and original of the European princesses and is famous for her unique style of dress and make-up. Once she shaved her head completely and later dyed her hair bright orange.

The princess married some years ago to the adventurer Kitin Munoz. The young couple chose Bulgaria as the place for their wedding ceremony and for the birth of their first child because both of them love the country.

The latest news around the family is the birth of Simeon III Hassan, who was named after his grandfather and the late king of Morocco. Baby Simeon came to the world on March 14, much to the surprise of all, as he was expected not earlier than March 20.
