The roofs of a major hypermarket store and a school collapsed as torrential rains, strong winds and occasional hailing hit the capital Sofia Friday afternoon.

The strong winds blew away the roof of a Billa hypermarket store in Hadzhi Dimitar residential district. The storm also damaged the roof of the gym at school N 22, located in downtown Sofia near the National Palace of Culture.

Two have been reported slightly injured.
