Bulgarians to Monitor Religious Sects

Bulgarians have established a civil organization for monitoring religious cults in the country.

The European Center for Studying New Religious Movements, as is the name of the new organization, has pledge to collect information about sects and present it to the media and the state institutions.

More than 80 religious organizations are active in Bulgaria at present, plus many more that exist off official records, the Center has said.
