Protest Blocks Sofia-Thessaloniki Railway

A protest of Greek railway workers has temporarily stopped trains between Sofia and Thessaloniki.

The strike will take place on Wednesday and Thursday, the Greek railway management told their Bulgarian colleagues.

Other cross-border train lines will also be affected by the protest, it was announced.

Greek trains to Slovenia, Serbia and Montenegro and Turkey and back will also stop during the move.
