Ukrainian special services have disclosed the origin of the dioxin, used to poison current President Viktor Yushchenko, leaving his appearance disfigured almost beyond recognition within five months.

This type of dioxin is produced in four or five military laboratories of Russia, U.S. and certain other companies, Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko said in an interview to CNN.

The proofs of how the material had been delivered to Ukraine are currently held at the General Prosecutors Office, which will ultimately provide an answer, said Yushchenko.
