The Republic of Ireland has removed all restrictions for work in the country for Bulgarian and Romanian citizens, announced the Bulgarian Ministry of Labor and Social Policy.

Ireland initially considered to take advantage of the option to extend the restrictions for one year, but over the week the government has decided to take them off altogether.

Ireland thus becomes the 20th country from the EU and EEA to allow all access for Bulgarians to is job market, alongside Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden.

Since the beginning of 2012, Germany has opened doors to Bulgarian seasonal workers and people having a higher education degree.
