A 55-year-old suicide-minded man has crashed his car into a bus with 46 people on board near the town of Sivnitsa in South Western Bulgaria.
The accident took place at around 07:05 a.m Tuesday, when the man swerved into oncoming traffic, causing a frontal collision between his car and a bus traveling from Spain to Sofia loaded with 43 passengers and 3 drivers.
The car driver died on the spot, with no victims among the bus passengers as four of them suffered slight injuries.
The bus has burned down completely.
The 43 passengers and the 3 drivers have been left without documents and will be issued temporary certificates by the regional police department in Slivnitsa.
According to police reports, on Monday night the man had set his Sofia-based apartment on fire, warning his wife that he intended to kill himself in a car crash.
The signal was received by the police at 07:06 a.m Tuesday.
The investigation of the collision continues.
