Former Bulgaria PM, Sergey Stanishev, has not proposed ex Ministers, Rumen Petkov and Rumen Ovcharov, to be part of the new Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) Executive Board.

At the meeting of the BSP National Council on Saturday, Stanishev left former Energy Minister Ovcharov and former Interior Minister Petkov out of his proposed 21 member executive board, Darik Radio reported. Eventually 17 of Stanishev's proposals received the party's backing.

Stanishev proposed Dimcho Mihalevski as party spokesman and as the BSP secretaries - Denitsa Zlateva, Cornelia Ninova, Evgeni Uzunov and Katya Nikolova.

Stanishev also proposed: Vania Dobreva, Mihail Mihov, Gennadi Stoilov, Borislav Kutsenov, Iliya Batashki, Yavor Gochev, Nicholas Porter, Vladimir Topencharov, Boyko Velikov, Atanas Kostadinov, Angel Naidenov, Georgi Pirinski, Dora Yankova, Kiril Dobrev, Kristiyan Vigenin and Dimitar Gorov.

Amongst the other leading BSP figures who fail to make the list are: Anton Kutev, Maya Manolova, Dimitar Dabov, Stefan Danailov, Svetla Bachvarova and Semra Izetova.
