The Military Prosecutor's Office launched Thursday an investigation on a case of stealing 42 plasma TV sets from a train composition that allegedly involved Bulgarian policemen.

The devices were stolen about a year ago at Svilengrad railway station.

The identity of the TVs buyer has not been established yet as it is only known the consignment was on its way to Western Europe.

Military Prosecutor Dimo Bachvarov said Bulgarian authorities asked their Germany's colleagues to help them in finding the buyer.
