Bulgaria Witnesses 135 Murders since Beginning of 2007

A total of 135 murders have been committed since the beginning of the year across Bulgaria, Interior Ministry data shows.

The culprits for most of these crimes have already been detained following careful investigation processes.

Another two murders have been uncovered in the past few days in the capital Sofia and in the town of Ihtiman. Both victims were drug dealers, police authorities reported.

Much higher is the number of the lives, claimed in the road carnage across the country as it is set at 885 during the same period. More than 8400 passengers were injured.
