Italian football team Fiorentina may try to swap young Bulgarian striker Valeri Bojinov for Barcelona's defensive half Tiago Motta, local media reported quoted by Gong radio.

Fiorentina owns Bojinov's contract, although the player is currently on loan at Juventus. If the transfer to Barcelona goes through, Bojinov would be retracing yet another of the steps of his mentor Hristo Stoitchkov, who is still regarded as one of Barca's brightest stars ever.

Bojinov's team is also interested in a Villareal player, so the Bulgarian may also be moving in that direction. The news came just days after the striker announced he and pop-folk star Alisiya are expecting a baby.
