Truck Explodes in Bulgaria

A heavy load truck ZIL exploded on Tuesday in Pernik town, close to Sofia, Darik News reported.

The truck was loaded with three tons of explosives.

The blast occurred near the Republica mine in Pernik, injuring three people.

The driver of the truck, a 49-year-old man, suffered only injuries in the head and is already sent to the recovery ward. The second victim, again 49-year-old man was admitted to hospital with broken glass in his eyes. The third has minor cutting on the head. The three of them are in good condition, doctors said.

Police are now investigating the case.
