Bulgarian racer Plamen Kralev will return for his third consecutive season in Formula 2, it has been announced.

"I am pleased to stay in my third year of F2. I believe this is the best championship for me that gives me an opportunity to build on my driving skills," Kralev has declared, as cited by autosport.com.

"With new Yokohama tyres I hope to deliver and fight regularly in the points and earn top 10 positions," he has added.

Plamen Kralev, who did not take up motorsport until his mid-thirties, scored a single point in both his campaigns in 2010 and 2011.

Kralev,38, has been Bulgaria's official global motorsport ambassador since 2008.
