Bulgaria's Unit for Combating Organized Crime (GDBOP) busted a virtual shopping mall selling fake contraband brand name label goods, the Interior Ministry reports Saturday.
The confiscated goods are valued at over BGN 1.4 M. The storage facilities have been located in the very heart of downtown Sofia. The site – www.mallvm.con – sold luxury accessories, fake brand name perfumes, fashion, jewelry, and handbags, among others.
On Friday, the authorities have been able to seize several shipments sent to different parts of the country. They have started legal proceedings in the case.
