Bulgaria: Bulgarian Actress Desi Zidarova Robbed, Severely Beaten

The famous Bulgarian actress and model Desi Zidarova has been beaten up by two assailants, suffering severe injuries in the attack.

The 24-year-old was set upon as she walked home in the Lozenets district of Bulgaria’s capital Sofia, late on Saturday evening. According to the police, suspect the motive may have been robbery, although they are checking on other possible motives.

After beating her with bats, the pair made off with Zidarova's handbag. Her companion, a male hairdresser, suffered minor injuries in the assault

The actress was taken to the trauma ward at Pirogov hospital, where it was discovered she had a cracked rib, subcostal injuries, and a knocked-out tooth. The injuries were diagnosed as not critical.

Desi Zidarova is well-known for her modeling appearances and for her acting roles. She recently took part in the popular TV series, “Hotel Bulgaria”.
