A masked man has killed two people, and has wounded at least 10 others in the Israeli city of Tel Aviv.

The man shot at a group of people before a gay community center with a machine gun, the BGNES news agency reported. He then tried to attack a nearby gay bar but was stopped by the guards.

The police have ordered the closing of all gay clubs or centers in Tel Aviv as a precaution. The gay and lesbian community believes the act was a hate crime. If these suspicions are confirmed, this will be the worst homophobic crime in Israel.
