A grenade hit barracks of Kosovo's new army west of the capital Pristina on Thursday, but no casualties were reported.
A shell was launched at the barracks, near the football stadium in the town of Pec and experts suspect a hand-held grenade launcher was used. According to the Kosovo Police Service (KPS) spokesman Veton Elshani, the grenade struck the roof of one of the buildings within the barrack grounds, causing minor material damage, B92 reported.
The attack comes only two days after the official formation of the KSB.
Serbian media report police have not ruled out the possibility that the attack was carried out by members of the now defunct Kosovo Protection Corps, unhappy with the entry conditions for the new forces.
