Nine Bulgarian municipalities will get a total of BGN 10 M for building new and repairing existing sports halls in 10 schools.
The sum was allocated at a regular session of the Council of Ministers on Wednesday.
The municipalities of Sofia, Plovdivm Burgas, Stara Zagora, Blagoevgrad, Veliko Tarnovo, Lovech, Ruse, and Shumen will receive funding to create 10 multifunctional sports halls.
A total of BGN 4 M is provided by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Science and the remainder will come as a result of central budget restructuring.
