The number of Internet users in Bulgaria is 585 000 or 9.6% of the population over the age of 15, a survey of the Bulgarian branch of GFK says.
Bulgaria is on the same level with the other countries in Central and Eastern Europe but it is considerably behind Western Europe and the USA.
The Internet users in the Netherlands, Sweden and Denmark are over 50%, and in the USA – 68%. 29.9% of the users in Bulgaria are online every day.
