Georgi Petkanov, former Bulgarian Interior Minister and Justice Minister, has died at the age of 67.

Simeon II is ready to act as a prime minister if headed by him movement has strong support in June 17 general elections, said former Bulgarian King for influential Spanish daily ABC.
The polls previously said King's popularity went down 10% - from 39% to 29%, but today 4 opinion poll agencies said their research was manipulated and the real results are really slightly down but no more than 5%.
The fact that the King participates in the elections puts Bulgarians in historical position and they should make historical choice, Ramon Perez Maura, Deputy Director of ABC said in the article.
