The projected foreign direct investments in Bulgaria for 2001 are some USD 1.4 B, Mouravei Radev, Minister of Finance, said.
This will be the most successful year for Bulgaria in terms of foreign ivestments, he added.
Decrease of taxes is the base for economic growth, the finance minister said. This is the focus of the newly opened chapter of European Union accession for Bulgaria, Tax policy, Radev specified.
