Foreign Ministers of 5 Countries to Discuss Turkish Stream in Budapest

The foreign ministers of Turkey, Hungary, Serbia, Macedonia, and Greece meet Tuesday in Budapest to discuss energy stability in Central and Southeastern Europe.
The five ministers will discuss opportunities for the diversification of gas supply routes and sources.
They will exchange views on their preparedness to take part in the implementation of the Turkish Stream gas pipeline project.
The participants in the meeting are expected to adopt a declaration on strengthening energy cooperation.
The Turkish Stream gas pipeline is to carry gas from Russia to Turkey across the Black Sea.
The pipeline is to have a capacity of 63 billion cubic meters of gas a year.
Turkish Stream was presented as an alternative to the cancelled South Stream gas pipeline project.
