Tenerife Murderer Has Profile in Bulgarian Online Dating Site
Deyanov's profile picture in Sladur.com
Deyan Valentinov Deyanov, the Bulgarian who shocked the world by decapitating a randomly chosen British woman in Tenerife, has a profile in a Bulgarian online dating and social networking site.
Last Friday, Deyanov, 28, stabbed 14 times and beheaded Jennifer Mills-Westley, 60-year old British woman, in a Chinese shopping center in Tenerife after having pursued the victim for some time before the horrifying act.
Deyanov's nickname in the site Sladur.com is "elf_canarias". He has last visited his profile on March 20 2010. Under the "activities" category, he has written "secret missions". Provided the profile is really created by Deyanov, he also describes himself as"party maker, trouble-maker, a** hole bre
aker, big boobs shaker".
In one of the pictures posted in the deranged Bulgarian's profile, he is seen hugging an unidentified woman, which might suggest he has exhibited some signs of "normal" social behavior.
Deyanov has not marked Bulgaria as his country of origin, but Zamin Sukhteh, which is the messianic Arabic concept of scorched earth, as the Mirror points out.
The name of the site, "sladur", translates as "cutie".
In February, Deyanov was discharged from a psychiatric hospital, he had told police that "in God's name" he was "planning something big", according to the Daily Telegraph.
He has been described by Tenerife residents as a habitual user of marijuana and was often seen muttering to himself. In one incident he attacked a security guard who was patrolling the beach area, knocking out three teeth.
