Bulgaria: Finance Ministry Ready with Budget Update
Bulgarian Finance Ministry is ready with a draft budget update, which will be submitted when a working parliament is formed.

Bulgaria's Financial Supervision Commission approved Friday Georgi Balgarski as a member of the Board of Directors of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE).
Balgarski was nominated on August 3 as the official representative of the Finance Ministry at BSE.
He replaces as State representative Lyudmila Elkova, who was the only person that kept her post at the Board of Directors after the January 20, 2010 reshuffle when all others were released.
Balgarski has a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in International Business Relations from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia. He is also a certified Finance Risk Manager (FRM) and a certified Financial Analyst (CFA).
The State currently owns 44% of the BSE capital and the plan is to increase it to 50% plus 1 share by September 13 when an extraordinary General Assembly meeting of the BSE shareholders is scheduled.
