Columbian pop diva Shakira, who staged her first concert in Brazil Tuesday, wants to meet the country's first female President, Dilma Rousseff.
Shakira wants to discuss with Roussef her foundation dedicated to improving the education and quality of life for needy children in Latin America and the Caribbean. Besides working on her humanitarian causes, the pop star will stage a vast concert at Sao Paulo Saturday.
Dilma Rousseff, a Brazilian politician of Bulgarian origin, has formally been inaugurated as Brazil's 36 President.on January 1, 2011, becoming the first female leader of the largest Latin American nation.
