Turkish top football team Fenerbahce is among those expressing strong interest in buying Bulgarian forward Dimitar Berbatov, who is doing a great season for Manchester United.

Fenerbahce Aziz Yildirim has stated his club is willing to pay ManUn EUR 15 M for Berbatov, and reimburse the player at EUR 3.5 M per year, as reported by the Bulgarian News Agency quoting the Turkish press.

Recently Berbatov's agent Emil Danchev stated he is "almost certain" the striker will finish his carreer in Manchester United, nevertheless leaving the door open to a hypothetical transfer.

British media however have reported that the transfer to Fenerbahce is unlikely to happen, speculating that the Turkish team will rather end up trafting Roberto Mancini from Manchester City.
