Six persons were noticed Thursday playing poker in full garb on Mussala, Bulgaria's highest peak, reports news agency BGNES.

The enthusiasts climbed Mussala in the Rila mountains – which at 2925 m is also the highest spot on the whole Balkan Peninsula – all with a green-cloth table, full sets of chips and cards, and together with their own croupier.

The crisp mountain air made for a dynamic Texas hold'em game that ended with a full house for one the competitors.

Other hikers were intrigued at the event and asked to join the players.
