600M EUR is not a backschich...

Money is power, no money, no power.

Bulgaria looks like a school boy caught by stealing some chewing gums...

Hopely now some of the officials finally woke up, who thought to be more clever then the EU...

I just feel sorry for the bulgarian people who lost their right to enjoy the benefits from the EU membership. Because of the misbehaving of a few, everybody has to suffer...

What a mess...! As Taro correctly points out, at the end of the day it is the Bg people/community whom will suffer and public confidence in Bg institutions will continue to evaporate both domestically and Internationally.

Bulgaria never really had the revolution to give itself a chance to be a true democracy. Its the same people running the country behind the scenes. Does a leopard change its spots?

I was watching the Castro documentary seeing very similar behaviours of the Cuba Elite and Government as is here in Bulgaria. I thought where is Bulgaria's Fidel who is looking out for the People of Bulgaria? Who will speak up and take (peaceful) action.

I totally agree with everyone's comments the people will suffer and the rich will grow fat on their lies.

For losing $600M there should be nothing less than an uprising but this will never happen. I just hope that they don't think they'll tax the people for the money that will probably have to be returned. At least now with cashflows drying up the mafioso's might start shooting each other again.
