BATE Borisov...this name definitely reminds me of someone...

"Levski is to participate in the tournament as a replacement for their archi-rivals CSKA, who won their 31st league title in May but failed to meet the licensing criteria of the Bulgarian Football Union because of debts to the state and creditors, thus abandoning hopes to participate in UEFA's Champions League."

Quite an impressive maneuvre by the Levski owners. They obviously paid the bigger bribe to the Bulgarian Football Union. The message is: "Don't mess with Levski, even if you win the league, we will still be in Europe and you will not".

Gangsterism is alive and well in Bulgarian football...
