Political party "Volya" will start to promote the idea of ​​a referendum on Bulgaria's exit from NATO. Tovaya told the Bulgarian National Radio party leader Veselin Mareshki.

"This will be one of our great initiatives in the campaign for the European elections, and we believe that NATO actually does not give us anything, but that it is robbing us." There are currently several billions to be taken from the Bulgarian people and given for meaningless pile of equipment from which the Bulgarian people will not benefit. We are absolutely against this. If NATO wants to be our partner, they can safely give us a few airplanes and not take money from Europe's poorest country and throw the people in greater poverty, "said Mareshki.

He participated in a meeting of right-wing political leaders, hosted by French National Front leader Marine Le Pen, after joining the Movement for a Europe of Nations and Liberties on March 1st.

According to Mareshki, a truly strong and united Europe can be equivalent to the US, instead of being their "tool":

"At the moment, other countries are having trouble in the world, and Europe is paying the bill, because the big portion of funding for Turkey is not paid by the United States, and Europe has to pay these billions," the leader said.

According to Veselin Mareshki, Europe has robbed the Bulgarian people:

"They banned the construction of a new nuclear power plant, made us shut down our reactors in advance, forbidden us to participate in South Stream. At the same time, "North", "Turkish" and all other streams are being built. German, French, US companies are investing freely and cooperating with Russia, but this is forbidden to China.

Instead of making us a cooperate with Russia and the East, they make us build barrier to them. In practice, they almost force us to increase tension. I hope there will be no military conflicts. These things can be changed when truly European patriotic formations stand in the management and lead the EU. "
