The junior coalition partner, the Reformist (Bloc), will decide on Tuesday whether to continue its support for the Bulgarian government.
The parties constituting RB and the five ministers from the bloc will meet at an extraordinary executive council.
The meeting comes after the resignation of Justice Minister Hristo Ivanov last week and the ensuing splits within the bloc.
Ivanov resigned after the parliament failed to adopt all the constitutional amendments concerning the reform of the judiciary, which had been proposed by him.
Radan Kanev, the chairperson of one of the parties constituting the bloc – Democrats for Strong Bulgaria (DSB), immediately withdrew his personal support for the government and became an opposition MP.
On Saturday, the management of DSB decided to similarly withdraw its support and to become an opposition party.
However Health Minister Petar Moskov, who is also from DSB, decided to retain his position in the government and resigned as deputy chairperson of DSB.
Two of the other parties constituting RB – Bulgaria for Citizens Movement (DBG) of Deputy Prime Minister Meglena Kuneva and Union of Democratic Forces (SDS) headed by Economy Minister Bozhidar Lukarski, reaffirmed their support for the government.
The stance of the other two parties - People's Party for Freedom and Dignity and the Bulgarian Agrarian National Union (BNZS) remains unclear.
