The Bulgarian government approved Boris Vangelov as chairperson of the State Agency for Bulgarians Abroad.
This emerged after the regular meeting of the Council of Ministers on Wednesday, the government's press service reports.
Vangelov holds Master's degrees in History and Geography and Law from the Veliko Tarnovo University St. Cyril and St. Methodius.
According to the press release, he has a rich and lengthy experience in working with Bulgarian communities abroad.
At present he works as jurisconsult of the Internal Macedonian Revolutionary Organisation (VMRO) Foundation.
VMRO is one of the constituent elements of the Patriotic Front (PF), which in turn is one of the parties supporting the incumbent coalition government.
