Bulgarian Pensioner Files Discrimination Complaint against ex-PM
A Bulgarian pensioner has filed a complaint against a discriminatory statement of former Prime Minster Boyko Borisov.

Bulgarian employers may get fines up to BGN 20,000 for cases of gender discrimination at work, the Commission for Protection against Discrimination chair Ana Strashimirova warned.
The Commission has been approached with various complaints, such as women getting paid less than their male colleagues, Strashimirova told Darik news.
Five-member panel of the Commission has also reviewed a gender discrimination complaint due to the requirement for Bulgarian citizens to have a middle name. According to the complainant, the requirement was humiliating for single mothers and children whose paternity is unknown.
Ana Strashimirova told Darik that the Commission for Protection against Discrimination already has regional offices in Bulgaria's big cities.
