Manchester United's Bulgarian striker Dimitar Berbatov has no intention in playing for a Premier League club next season, according to his agent, Emil Danchev.

"Dimitar does not want to play for another club in England," Emil Dantchev has told Goal.com.

"He would like to try a new challenge in another league. It has been a frustrating season and now he just wants to play football," he added.

Premier League clubs Tettenham Hotspur and Fulham have been among those reportedly interested in snapping up the Bulgarian, who is almost certainly leaving Old Trafford this summer.

Manchester United took up an option in March to extend the forward's contract until next summer to prevent him leaving for nothing at the end of the season.

Red Devils boss Sir Alex Ferguson recently stated that Berbatov could leave United this summer only if there was a very good, "satisfying" offer from another club.
