2 Brits Get Beaten Up in Bulgarian Capital Sofia

Bulgarian police are looking for the assaultants who attacked and beat up 2 British citizens in the wee hours Saturday downtown in Bulgarian capital Sofia.

A group of 3 Brits had just exited a pub in central Sofia and got into a taxi cab, when 2 sturdy built men approached the car and pulled out two of the passengers.

The unknown persons proceeded to beat up the UK citizens, after which they ran away from the scene of the crime.

The taxi driver drove the group to the Pirogov Hospital for medical assistance, after which he called 112.

The injured Brits are hospitalized in Pirogov with light injures; police investigation on the case is underway.
