House of Murdered Bulgarian Mobster's Widow Bombed - Report

The house in which a small bomb that went off in the wee hours Saturday in Bulgarian capital Sofia belongs to the widow of murdered Bulgarian businessman Milcho Bonev, aka Bay Mile, according to reports.

The explosive device was thrown in the courtyard of the house in the Sofia neighborhood of Simeonovo, destroying the roof of a garage and breaking a kitchen window.

No one was hurt in the incident, which is currently under scrutiny by the Bulgarian police.

Nonofficial information quoted by Darik Radio has it that the house belongs to Sylvia Panagonova, the widow of Milcho Bonev.

Bay Mile, an alleged senior Bulgarian mobster, was murdered back in 2004 together with 5 more persons in a restaurant in the Slavia sports complex in Sofia.

To date, the murder case has not been solved, with the court issuing this July non-guilty verdicts for all defendants tried.
