Bulgaria Records Another Hot November Weekend

Temperatures in Bulgaria soared well above 20 degrees C Sunday, with nine locations registering temperature records.
The highest temperature Sunday was recorded in Veliko Tarnovo, at 27.2 degrees Centigrade, as reported by the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
Records were set in cities such as Dobrich, Montana, Sliven and Kazanlak.
Resident and visitors of Bulgaria's maritime main city Varna relished the sun and grasped the opportunity to pay a visit to the beach.
For the coming week, especially its second part, NIMH forecasts a slight decrease of temperatures, which will nevertheless still stay above the average for the months. Highs are expected to range around 14-19 degrees C, while lows are expected to be around 3-8 degrees C.
Should the warm weather continue, Bulgarians might well stop worrying whether the prices of natural gas, which comes almost entirely from Russia, will actually decrease or no.
